Data collection for the Organic Production Survey will begin early May.
The Organic Production Survey is a supplement to the Census of Agriculture and will collect additional information on the growth in organic farming. It is the first wide-scale survey of organic farming in the United States. Forms will be mailed to 20,000 organic producers nationwide in early May 2009. Recipients are required to complete and return their forms by June 17, 2009.
For your convenience, you can complete the survey via the Internet using our secure, online response system. You will need your survey form so that you can enter the survey ID number printed on the address label.
