USDA'S NASS to Release Non-Ambulatory Cattle Report
WASHINGTON, April 20, 2005 - The USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) will publish U.S. statistics on non-ambulatory cattle and calves for 2003 and 2004. The report will be released on May 5, 2005 at 3 p.m. and will include non-ambulatory cattle that died as well as cattle that recovered or were culled from the herd. This information was collected during the January 1, 2004 and 2005 cattle surveys.
