USDA'S NASS to Release U.S. Broiler and Egg Production Cycles Special Report
WASHINGTON, Sept. 9, 2005 - On Sept. 16, the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) will release a special publication titled, "U.S. Broiler and Egg Production Cycles." This special report presents historical data on the cycle of broiler and table egg production, which includes hatchery capacity, egg production, layer inventory, young chicken slaughter and the value of production. This report is intended to serve as a ready reference for data users.
