NASS Discontinues Weather-Crop Summary

Effective this year, USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) has discontinued the weekly Weather-Crop Summary reports, previously published every Tuesday at noon. The last such report issued by NASS was on Dec. 28, 2010. Weekly crop updates will continue to be available in NASS’s Crop Progress report, released every Monday during the growing season.
As in the past, the agricultural weather-related information will continue to be published weekly by the USDA's World Agricultural Outlook Board (WAOB), which publishes a Weekly Weather and Crop Bulletin every Wednesday at noon.
All NASS reports are available online at www.nass.usda.gov and WAOB reports are available online at www.usda.gov/oce/commodity/.
