2010 Agricultural Chemical Usage Data Correction

The 2010 Corn, Upland Cotton, and Fall Potatoes Agricultural Chemical Use data were corrected June 9, 2011. The correction affected all three crop categories, and primarily included limited, minor adjustments to Total Pounds Applied for fertilizer and pesticide usage. Percent Area Treated, Rate per Application and Rate per Crop Year for chemical usage remained virtually unchanged.
The correction affected all-Program State totals, as well as State totals for the following States: Colorado, Georgia, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, and Texas.
Corrections were made to the release highlights and to the Quick Stats 2.0 database.
