USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) will release Overview of the United States Cattle Industry on Dec. 17 at 3 p.m. ET. The report provides information on changes in the U.S. cattle industry and its impact on future cattle supplies. The report is an update of the United States Cattle Supplies and Disposition report issued in 2006 and is provided to the industry and data users to give a better understanding of the relationships within the cattle industry.
