The Colorado Field Office is one of 46 state offices of the United States Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) that serves all 50 states and Puerto Rico. Through a cooperative agreement with the Colorado Department of Agriculture, the Colorado office is the official source for timely, unbiased, and accurate statistical information on Colorado's diverse agricultural industry. Colorado's statistics are included with other states' in NASS's Agricultural Statistics Board Reports. Press Releases containing Colorado statistics are issued by the Colorado office immediately following the release of the NASS reports. Colorado's statistics are summarized twice a month in the Colorado Ag Update and the annual Colorado Agricultural Statistics Bulletin contains statistics for the entire year. The agricultural producers and businesses who respond to our surveys make these statistics possible.
