DISTRICT 2 - NORTH CENTRAL DISTRICT 3 - NORTHEAST DISTRICT 4 - WEST CENTRAL Cold and windy most of last week with very little rainfall. Soils are deficient in moisture and what little gains made in pond recharge is beginning to turn around. Getting nitrogen sidedress on wheat and some winter grazing, and we need the winter grazing. DISTRICT 5 - CENTRAL Very, very cold and windy! Heavy hay feeding to livestock. Due to rainfall, fescue is really flourishing. Extremely cold weather dominated this week. Soil moisture is good from recent rains. DISTRICT 6 - EAST CENTRAL We are falling well behind normal rainfall for this time of the year and it is beginning to affect the grain crop. Cold/dry. DISTRICT 7 - SOUTHWEST DISTRICT 8 - SOUTH CENTRAL This past week has been very cold, that prevented cabbage from being transplanted. DISTRICT 9 - SOUTHEAST Three nights of freezing temperatures below 20. Damage to Southern Highbush blueberries.
