DISTRICT 2 - NORTH CENTRAL No comments available. DISTRICT 3 - NORTHEAST No comments available. DISTRICT 4 - WEST CENTRAL Harvest wrapped up; wheat planted; winter grazing mostly planted; Thanks were given for what we have. DISTRICT 5 - CENTRAL No comments available. DISTRICT 6 - EAST CENTRAL La Nina really has us in its clutches. Rain events are light and far apart. Ponds are lower than they ever were during the summer. Wheat is being watered to get it up. Ryegrass is doing very well on the dairies where it's irrigated. Still have cotton in the field belonging to those die-hard optimists thinking, erroneously, that more bolls would open. Yields on everything, when averaging dry land and irrigated, were only decent this year. Pecan harvest is just getting to the Stuarts, prices high. DISTRICT 7 - SOUTHWEST All but a few acres of cotton are harvested. Wheat crop that's up benefited from recent rainfall. Still some wheat to plant, but desirable varieties are in short supply. DISTRICT 8 - SOUTH CENTRAL No comments available. DISTRICT 9 - SOUTHEAST No comments available.
