An estimated 33.3 million broiler type eggs were set by Georgia hatcheries, down slightly from the previous week, but up 5 percent from the comparable week a year earlier. Broiler-type chicks hatched during the week totaled 27.3 million, down 2 percent from the previous week, but up 4 percent from the comparable week a year earlier.
