Rice producers applied herbicides, and there were a few reports of seedling disease in drill seeded rice. Soybean and grain sorghum producers continued planting. Sugarcane fertilization continued. Fruits, Vegetables, and Specialty Crops Report Vegetable producers sprayed tomato plants and fertigated bell pepper plants. Strawberry producers remained busy harvesting and marketing strawberries. Crawfish numbers and size of catch increased. Livestock, Pasture, and Range Report Cattlemen continued to cut ryegrass for hay.
