Rice desiccated by windy weather. Rice producers began application of herbicides. Sugarcane producers fertilized fields, and rust was reported in sugarcane. Fruits, Vegetables, and Specialty Crops Report Producers harvested strawberries and greenhouse tomatoes, and continued to spray for insects and diseases in fields. Crawfish producers continued with catches. Livestock, Pasture, and Range Report Cattlemen continued to cut hay and fertilize pastures.
