Some sheath blight problems were reported in early planted rice. Farmers continued to harvest wheat. Early rice was at or near the green ring stage. Soybean producers continued to plant. Sugarcane producers continued to lay-by cane. Fruits, Vegetables, and Specialty Crops Report Producers harvested tomatoes, cucumbers and squash. Strawberry producers cleaned up fields. Citrus producers scouted fields. Crawfish production continues to slow as producers drain ponds. Livestock, Pasture, and Range Report Cattleman continued to cut hay.
