Rice producers drained water from fields of early-planted rice in preparation for harvest. Corn producers began to harvest. Soybean fields continued to flower, but pods were light due to stress. Sugarcane growth improved due to rainfall. Producers worked fallow land in preparation for planting of sugarcane. Fruits, Vegetables, and Specialty Crops Report Producers continued to harvest tomatoes, eggplant, mustard greens and peas. Livestock, Pasture, and Range Report Producers continued to bale hay and fertilize fields.
