Harvest of sorghum, corn, and soybeans was slowed by the rain. Heavy rains and wind have caused some lodging in rice and sugarcane. The ratoon rice crop has progressed well. Fruits, Vegetables, and Specialty Crops Report Vegetable producers planted fall crops. Citrus producers scouted for insects. Crawfish producers remained busy flooding ponds. Livestock, Pasture, and Range Report Cattlemen continued to harvest hay and sent calves to market.
