Sugarcane harvest continued to make progress. Wheat producers continued planting. Sweet potato harvest continued with improved quality. Fruits, Vegetables, and Specialty Crops Report Vegetable producers harvested greenhouse tomatoes, greens, and cabbage. Strawberry harvest was underway while producers treated fields to control disease. Crawfish producers pumped ponds to maintain water levels. Livestock, Pasture, and Range Report Fall forage plantings have developed slow due to lack of moisture. Pastures were dry and need rain.
