Sweet potato producers finished harvesting. Winter wheat planted reached 70 percent, ahead of the five-year average. The rainfall slowed sugarcane producers from harvesting, but the harvest was still ahead of the five-year average. Fruits, Vegetables and Specialty Crops Vegetable producers were harvesting field and greenhouse tomatoes and lettuce and cutting cabbage. Strawberry producers were harvesting and spraying fungicides to control disease. Livestock, Pasture and Range Report Cattlemen were starting to feed hay and supplements. Livestock conditions were improving with 94 percent in fair or better condition. The rainfall helped improve pasture conditions in most areas.
