Historic County Estimate Revisions

After the 2002 Census of Agriculture, all crop and livestock county
estimates were evaluated to determine the need for revisions based on the
census results. Historic county estimate final revisions for the years 1998
through 2002 were underway as this publication was being produced. The
revised numbers for 2002 appear in the following tables. The revised numbers
for 1998 through 2001 will not appear in any printed document produced by
Michigan Agricultural Statistics. However, they can be found at the National
Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) website, http:/www.nass.usda.gov by
choosing "Quick Stats, the Agricultural Statistics Data Base." Quick Stats
offers the ability to query by commodity, state and year. The result of the
query can be seen online or downloaded as a dataset for use in a database or
spreadsheet.
