Precipitation varied from 0.13 inches in the western Upper Peninsula to 1.46 inches in the southeastern Lower Peninsula. Average temperatures ranged from 3 degrees below normal in the northeast and east central Lower Peninsula to 1 degree above normal in the southwest Lower Peninsula. Most farmers have completed the harvest of their remaining crops and are preparing for the winter months. A farmer in the northwest mentioned that, "Farm activities were limited due to snowfall and the holiday. Maintenance and storing equipment was the main focus." A farmer in the east central said that, "Some wheat was planted very late and didn't come up very well. Other wheat that has excessive growth might suffer from heavy snowfall." Field Crops Report Field Crops Snow and rain during the week slowed fieldwork as harvest of field crops was completed across the State.
