Temperatures ranged from 3 to 4 degrees above normal in both the Upper and Lower Peninsulas. Precipitation ranged from 1.01 to 1.06 inches in the Upper Peninsula and 0.19 to 0.58 inches in the Lower Peninsula. Harvest continued at a rapid pace, especially toward the end of the week when high temperatures were in the low 60's in Southern Michigan. Soybean and sugarbeet harvests were nearly complete. Corn harvest was slowed in some areas due to back-ups at grain elevators. Winter wheat stands look very good. Emergence was excellent.
