mi-crop-weather State Michigan Crop Weather Released November 26, 2012 Week Ending Date November 25, 2012 Issue MI-CW4812 Agricultural Summary Field Crops Five days were suitable for field work last week. Temperatures were well above normal in the Upper and Lower Peninsulas. Precipitation ranged from 0.44 to 0.62 inches in the Upper Peninsula and 0.08 to 0.28 inches in the Lower Peninsula. Corn harvest was all but complete as unseasonably warm days allowed farmers to wrap up fall activities during the week. The weekend brought about much cooler and more seasonal temperatures along with some light snow showers. Last Issue for 2012 This concludes the 2012 Crop Weather season.
