Soybeans were up $0.50 to a January price of $10.00 per bushel. The all hog price for January was $41.20 per cwt., a decrease of $0.20 from the December price. The all beef cattle price for January was $71.50 per cwt., an increase of $0.90 from the December price. The all milk price for January, at $12.00 per cwt., was down $4.60 from December. The preliminary U.S. All Farm Products Index of Prices Received by Farmers in January, at 137 percent, based on 1990-92=100, increased 2 points (1.5 percent) from December. The Crop Index is up 8 points (5.4 percent) and the Livestock Index decreased 4 points (3.4 percent).
