Soybeans were down $0.45 to a February price of $9.50 per bushel. The all hog price for February was $43.50 per cwt., an increase of $1.00 from the January price. The all beef cattle price for February was $70.90 per cwt., a decrease of $1.20 from the January price. The all milk price for February, at $12.90 per cwt., was unchanged from January. The preliminary U.S. All Farm Products Index of Prices Received by Farmers in February, at 127 percent, based on 1990-92=100, is down 8.6 percent from the January index. The Crop Index is 148, down 7.5 percent from January. The Livestock & Products Index, at 109, is 4.4 percent below January.
