Corn, at $3.85 per bushel, was unchanged from March. The all hog price for April was $43.70 per cwt., a decrease of 50 cents from the March price. The all beef cattle price for April was $73.80 per cwt., an increase of $2.30 from the March price. The all milk price for April, at $12.80 per cwt., was up 20 cents from March. The preliminary U.S. All Farm Products Index of Prices Received by Farmers in April, at 131 percent, based on 1990-92=100, increased 5 points (4.0 percent) from March. The Crop Index increased 9 points (6.2 percent) and the Livestock Index increased 3 points (2.8 percent).
