Quarterly Milk Survey

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, National Agricultural Statistics Service, Montana Field Office will be conducting a milk production survey to gather information on milk production. The data collected will be used to prepare State and National milk production and related statistics.

The Montana Field Office will be contacting Montana milk producers beginning Sept. 29th through Oct. 12th between the hours of 6:30 am and 9:30 pm. Individual reports are kept confidential. Results will be published on the internet at www.nass.usda.gov on Oct. 19, 2012 at 1:00 pm. The Milk Production Report is free to all farmers and ranchers through the Montana Crop and Livestock Reporter or by calling 1-800-835-2612.
