Field Crops Report

Many areas around the state are well into their first cutting of hay. The warm temperatures and limited moisture are beginning to stifle the wheat crop in the central and northeastern parts of the state. While 48% of the winter wheat is headed, many fields are noticing shorter stalks than previous years.
