Field Crops Report

Spring wheat, durum wheat, and barley harvested are behind last year at 1 percent, 1 percent, and 3 percent complete, respectively. In 2008, they were 11 percent, 15 percent, and 12 percent complete, respectively. Some fields have reported hail damage with the recent storms. While the moisture received in some areas has kept producers out of the field, it should improve crop conditions.
