Field Crops Report

Winter wheat seeding is 25 percent complete, ahead of last year's progress of 6 percent and the five year average of 18 percent. Consecutive weeks of dry warm weather have allowed spring wheat and barley harvest to almost catch up with last year's pace, but durum wheat harvest is well behind last year's pace.
