Deer Lodge County, Montana


        Deer Lodge County is located in western
    Montana. Most of the terrain is mountainous
    and covered by parts of the Deer Lodge and
    Beaverhead National Forests. A section of the
    Anaconda-Pintlar Wilderness lies along the
    western boundary. The Continental Divide makes
    up a portion of the eastern border of the
    county, cuts through the center, and runs along
    most of the western boundary. The Big Hole
    River defines the county's border to the south.
