Pondera County, Montana


        Pondera County was established in April 1919
    from land in north central Montana. It's western
    border is marked by the Continental Divide of
    the Rocky Mountains, and a section of the Lewis
    and Clark National Forest makes up the western
    corner of the county. Although smaller in size
    than many of the counties, Pondera County is
    big on crop production.
