Richland County, Montana


        Richland County occupies acres of prairie
    along the Montana/North Dakota border in
    northeastern Montana. The entire northern
    boundary of the county is defined by a section
    of the Missouri River, while the Yellowstone
    River cuts across the southeastern corner.
    Richland County was established in May 1914,
    and claims Sidney as the county seat.
