Meagher County, Montana


        Meagher County is situated in central Montana
    with the Little Belt Mountains marking its
    northern boundary and the Big Belt
    Mountains laying along its western border.
    Sections of the Lewis & Clark and Helena
    National Forests are scattered in various
    regions of the county. The Smith River flows
    northwesterly through the county, while the
    Musselshell River originates in the south
    central region and flows east. White Sulphur
    Springs is the county seat.
