Blaine County, Montana


        Blaine County was created in March 1912
     and is located in the north central region of
    Montana. Its northern boundary comprises a
    portion of the Montana/Canadian border. Half
    of its southern boundary is marked by the
    Missouri River, and the Milk River meanders the
    entire width of the county. The land in Blaine
    County is generally level but is broken in the
    western and southern regions by the Bear Paw
    Mountains. The Fort Belknap Indian Reservation
    occupies the southeastern corner of the county.
