Park County, Montana

Park County is located in south central Montana
    along the Montana/Wyoming border. Almost
the entire southern boundary of the county
makes up the northern border of Yellowstone
Park. The Yellowstone and Shields Rivers
traverse the length of Park County and join near
Livingston where they continue east into

two-thirds of the county is blanketed by the
mountains of the Gallatin National Forest,
which includes a major portion of the Absaroka-
    Beartooth Wilderness Area.
