Sweetgrass County, Montana


       Sweet Grass County is found in the south central
   portion of Montana. The Yellowstone River flows
   from west to east through the center of the county.
   The Boulder River enters the county from the south
   and joins the Yellowstone River at Big Timber.
   The northwest corner of Sweet Grass County
   contains part of the Gallatin National Forest,
   while another section of the same forest blankets
   the southern quarter of the county. A section
   of the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness is also
   contained in that southern portion of the county.
