Yellowstone County, Montana


        Located in south central Montana, Yellow-
    stone County is bisected lengthwise by the north-
    easterly flowing Yellowstone River. The Yellow-
    stone Valley extends through the county, flanked
    by benchlands. The Crow Indian Reservation
    reaches into the southeastern corner. Billings,
    the largest city in the state, is located here
    here making the county foremost commercially
    and industrially in southeastern Montana.
