Phillips County, Montana


        Phillips County occupies acres of rolling
    prairies in north central Montana. The entire
    southern boundary of the county is comprised of
    portions of the Missouri River and Ft. Peck
    Lake. Portions of the Charles M. Russell and
    UL Bend National Wildlife Refuges lie along the
    banks of the Missouri River and Ft. Peck Lake
    in southern Phillips County. The Milk River
    crosses west to east through the center of the
    county, and the northern boundary of Phillips
    County makes up a portion of the
    Montana/Canadian border.
