                   Results of the 2009 Direct Marketing Survey to be Released
    
The results of the 2009 Direct Marketing Survey will be released on October 4, 2010 
at 3:00 PM.   These results are from a comprehensive survey of New York farmers who
market their products directly to consumers. This survey was last conducted in 2000,
and prior to that in 1987. It is the result of a cooperative effort supported by the
USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service New York Field Office and the New York
State Department of Agriculture and Markets.

These results can be accessed only through the internet at our website:
www.nass.usda.gov/ny.
