Several fast moving storms brought rain and snow showers throughout the week with very few days seeing very much sunlight. Although damp weather dominated the week, drought conditions still persist in some form across the state. Outlook, October 23-29: Monday will start out cold and snowy for the eastern half of the state with temperatures in the upper 30s and low 40s. The western half of the state will see nicer conditions with temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s. Temperatures will warm up a bit for Tuesday and Wednesday before the next storm system rolls in late on Wednesday. Temperatures will warm into the mid-50s for the western half of the state while the eastern half of the state will see temperatures in the upper 40s to the low 50s. The best chance of seeing precipitation on Thursday and Friday will be in the eastern half of the state with snow mixing in with rain. Temperatures will drop back into the mid to upper 40s on Thursday and Friday, but will rebound very quickly for the weekend. Temperatures will warm from west to east starting on Saturday with more seasonal temperatures and dry conditions for Sunday.
