Okanogan
County Profile
Okanogan
County, a land of forested highlands and valley farmlands,
is located on the Canadian border of north central Washington.
The name means "rendezvous" and refers to the place where
the Okanogan River joins the Columbia. The Washington Territorial
Legislature created Okanogan County on February 2, 1888.
