Cavell Brownie Scholars JSM Mentoring Program
The goal of the program is to increase the representation of students and post-docs from under-represented groups pursuing academic careers and entering the progessoriate. The program pairs graduate students and post doctoral scholars with faculty mentors at the Joint Statistical Meetings. ENGIS Young Statistician Award

Gertrude Cox Award
First awarded in 2001, The Gertrude Cox Award seeks nominations of North Carolina State University faculty members who have made creative contributions to teaching, learning, and technology at NC State during the previous academic year. The award is named for "The First Lady of Statistics" who established the Department of Statistics at NC State.
IAOS Young Statistician Award
The International Association of Official Statistics (IAOS) sponsors this award.
IASS Cochran-Hansen Prize
The International Association of Survey Statisticians awards this prize every two years to the best paper on survey research methods submitted by a young statistician from a developing or transitional country.
Janet L. Norwood Award

New Scholars Grant Program
A new grant program, the New Scholars program, is being administered by The Elsevier Foundation with the goal of encouraging "the participation of women in academic science and technology through programs that address the challenges associated with managing career and family responsibilities."
