No rain was reported on Monday or Tuesday while a few light showers crossed far northwest Iowa on Wednesday (4th). Light rain fell across much of the northern one-third of the state on Thursday (5th). Thunderstorms rumbled across the north one-half of Iowa on Friday (6th) evening with rain totals locally exceeding five inches at Estherville.
