ROW SPACING, PLANT AND EAR POPULATION - CORN

The Illinois Agricultural Statistics Service conducts corn objective yield surveys each year. Randomly selected plots in corn for grain fields are visited monthly from August through harvest to obtain specific counts and measurements. Data in these tables are based on survey results but are not official estimates. They are intended to show trends in corn for grain production practices.
