Cash receipts from farm marketings in Kansas during 1996 are estimated at $7.87 billion, up 4 percent from 1995, according to Kansas Agricultural Statistics (see table 1). Livestock receipts increased 1 percent while crops receipts increased 9 percent. Cattle and wheat accounted for the largest cash receipts in Kansas at $3.99 billion and $1.18 billion, respectively.
