USDA NASS Cropland Data Layer - category codes, class names, and colors. Consistent and standardized for all states and all years.
The 2011 Cropland Data Layer (CDL) catalog was released on January 31, 2012. Coincident with this release was a re-release of the entire catalog of historical CDLs for 1997-2010.
These re-releases contain updated category codes and class names. These revisions were done to eliminate redundant or unused categories. Most of the changes apply to the
 nonagricultural domain. This document is meant to provide a summary of the revisions.
