1995 Vegetation Condition from AVHRR NDVI Data

Vegetation Condition Images based on NDVI for the 1995 crop season are available for selection in the table below. The data are arranged by two week composite periods; images used for 1995 were collected by the NOAA-14 AVHRR sensor. Since no prior year data is available from NOAA-14, only one-period NDVI and nine-period NDVI thumbnails are available for 1995. Images from NOAA-16 or NOAA-17 data (starting in 2001) are not water vapor corrected, while images from NOAA-14 (prior to 2001) were. Caution: the GIF images displayed are very large, ranging from 300-500k bytes.
