Vegetation Condition from AVHRR NDVI Data

Vegetation Condition images for the 2006 crop season based on NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) are available for selection in the table below. The Vegetation Condition data are arranged by two week composite periods. Images from NOAA-16 or NOAA-17 data (starting in 2001) are not water vapor corrected, while images from NOAA-14 (prior to 2001) were. Caution: the GIF and PDF images displayed are very large, ranging from 0.3MB to 1.9MB.
