AGRICULTURAL SUMMARY:
Harvest continues
throughout the state as rainfall improves moisture
conditions, according to USDA's South Dakota
Agricultural Statistics Service. Major farm activities
included hay hauling, winter wheat planting, cutting
silage, harvesting row crops, and moving cattle to fall
grazing. Statewide, there were 4.6 days reported
suitable for fieldwork last week.
This report is based on information from county
extension educators, farm service agency county
directors, and other reporters across the state.
