About Us

The Oklahoma Field Office is one of 46 Field Offices of the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS). The Field Office is located in the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry (ODAFF) building in Oklahoma City, and operates under a cooperative agreement with ODAFF.

The NASS mission is to provide timely, accurate and useful statistics in service to U.S. agriculture. To help fulfill that mission, NASS issues nearly 400 reports annually at predetermined dates. Reports cover most all facets of agriculture including crops, fruit & vegetables, livestock, dairy, poultry, prices, farm labor, weather-crop reports, cash receipts, and other items of interest.

NASS is also responsible for collecting and disseminating the Census of Agriculture. This historic data series provides the only source of uniform, comprehensive and impartial agricultural data for every county in the nation.
