NASS Announces 2012 Apple In-Season Forecast Schedule

The National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) announced today the schedule for the 2012 apple in-season data collection and the release of the apple in-season forecast. NASS will contact apple producers from late July to early August to gather information about the 2012 apple crop. The results of this survey will be published on August 10 as part of the August Crop Production report and will provide important information about expected production of the current season's crop. All NASS reports are available online at www.nass.usda.gov.
